I hate to bring up really horrible "what ifs", but frankly this ridiculousness of the McCain campaign inciting lynch mobs is getting out of hand.
With all the bitching and moaning about the "liberal media" being unfair to McCain and Palin, maybe they would be OK with the media gving them a break for a day or two? I mean, if the media is being made out to be the bad guy, regardless of what they do, why not then embrace it, and just ignore McCain all together. It's getting bad, to the point where news crews are being abused by crowds. Hell, the camera men, with their union backing, could start refusing to work McCain stories because of "safety concerns". It will never happen of course, but a boy can dream.
I have added the Truth-O-Meter, by Politifact, to the side bar on BrainDonkey, because frankly I end up talking about almost every single thing on there. It's pretty good, and it shows the truth-level of statements and smears. Some are surprising, most are not, but it is great to have authentication that is backed up with actual complete evidence, instead of the convenient partials that the candidates use.
It has just jumped up a whole level, of ignorance and violence. The obviousness of the McCain campaign choosing to start slinging the dirtiest of mud shows how bad it really is for the McCain campaign.
I do not recall. I do not recall. I do not recall. Sounds like a freaking normal day in a federal hearing. Anyway... John Dowd was on a conference call with reporters today, and was asked about a specific part of the Keating 5 inquiry, regarding a Keating stripmall that McCain invested in.
Now of course this is purely for giggles, but I got annoyed when I read somewhere that Obama tells more lies than McCain. I have also see commentary saying it the other way as well. So I figured, I could lend my giant brain to the problem, and answer it once and for all.
An article in the New York Times discusses the "connection" between Obama and Bill Ayers, long ago partial founder of the anti-Vietnam militant group, the Weathermen, which launched a campaign of bomings in 1969 against the government. Those times had long since past, when Obama and Bill Ayers met.
Panda Vomits Rainbows and Photos. Just go there. Don't think, just do. It is the most excellent piece of awesomeness and bewilderment you will ever be exposed to.
It would seem that the debate did not bode well for the McCain camp. Generally speaking, when someone goes on a severe and extreme offense, it means they are losing and know it, and are making a last stand. It is the case with virtually anything, poker, football, arguing with your wife, and politics. Almost 100% of McCains current ad budget is going toward 3 negative ads. Like most last ditch efforts, I hope this fails bad. This is an "all in" from the gambler McCain.
Aden Nak has posted a blog entry, with 1 tidbit at the end I think many will enjoy. It needs no explaination...
Maybe the Media Should Not Cover McCain for a Day?
The Truth-O-Meter Has Been Added
Wow, Like a Cornered Wild Animal.
McCain’s Campaign is now Playing Ignorant on Keating. lol
Which Candidate is more truthful? Math to the Rescue.
