I understand intimidation by technology, but, people need to start realizing some things. YOU CAN’T BLOW UP THE UNIVERSE IF YOU SCREW UP. Your phone will not charge you a million bucks. It’s all going to be ok. you will survive if it doesn’t work the first time. People give up the first time I think, because they assume they are too dumb. I agree, you are dumb, but not too dumb. It really is not a function of getting it right the first time, or never getting it right. I usually fail to get my BT headset to pair up the first time. Half the time my headset forgets its friend the iPhone. Technology is only scary because it’s voodoo to so many people. But what’s wrong with voodoo? Do we need to start putting warning labels on technology that say:

Warning: this device will no kill you in your sleep if you make a mistake.

Warning: Your 12 year old neighbor kid will make fun of you if you screw up, but they won’t charge you anything to fix it except maybe a cookie or cake.
