Call for Tougher Media Scrutiny of Alternative Vehicles

The reality is the tesla is a huge step forward. is it perfect, no, but it never will be. My Miata can't carry plywood, and my CRV cant corner like a go cart. That's the way it is.

On top of it, the media seems to take a fairly simplistic view of car types.

• Standard - good for going on trips and everything you do.
• Hybrib - feel warm and fuzzy while looking like a dork, but cant do as much as Standard.
• Alternative - your car will stay in your garage because its like the EV1.

Its a rediculous pretense, and the fact is not all cars are equal, in any respect, nor is any 1 solution ideal currently. Corn, requires fertilizer. Electricity comes from somewhere bad in 90%(WAG) of the country. "hybrids" that only get 2 extra miles to the gallon, ARE NOT A STEP FORWARD.
