The noise of the crybabies has finally reached a level that cannot be ignored. Look, I know some of you bitter old shrivled house frous would have loved to have Hillary on the ticket, originally as Pres and lately as VP.
Not becoming the presidential candidate was a function of the political system you have come to love or hate, but still, Obama was duly elected to the democratic ticket. So, moving on, you now held out hope for Hillary to be the Veep. That was never going to happen, and I don't understand how some of you dolts could ever actually think that it was a possibility.
It's not so much Hillary's fault as it is Bill's. Not cause Bill is being devisive and bitter, but because Bill was President. Would Hillary have made a good Veep, sure why not, probably as good as any other. But the problem would arise from her being a Veep+, because after all, she is married to an ex-president. Her words and efforts would have more power than they should as Veep. It would in many ways devalue the power of Obama as president. Maybe not, but the risk is there, and it's too great to ignore.
So, that brings us to today. Whiny baby old house frou post day.
If you are a Democrat, and you do not like McCain, why in the ever loving hell would you vote for McCain instead of Obama? Oh, I see, you are cutting off your nose to spite your face... Brilliant strategy... You go girl... No, seriously, please go, leave now, you are of no value to this country any more and your tax burden is no longer needed.
Why oh why would you do this? To prove a point to Obama? Or to the Democratic party? Or to show your ever loving support for Hillary? Your not going to accomplish anything except get McCain elected if you do this. Obama will just feel that he lost because McCain ran a better campaign or that this country was not 'ready for change'. The Democratic party will just send you another fundraising letter and assume you voted Dem even though it lost. And Hillary will just sit there thinking, 'hmmm i wonder if I would have lost as well?'
You will accomplish nothing except to continue the tradgedy of the current political ideals that have pulled this country down to being a second rate nation of bullies and elitists. You will complain that nothing has changed 4 years from now, but yet you won't admit out loud that you didn't vote McCain to spite Obama. You will be a guilty fugitive hiding from the opinion of the people who did the right thing in the first place and voted their concience and beliefs.
Look, if you want to vote for McCain because you feel he is the better candidate, having a better plan than Obama for the things you care about, then go ahead and vote McCain. I am not going to tell you which is the better candidate, that's for you to decide, and then vote on. But, don't just vote against Obama because your upset about something that he frankly had very little control over in reality. Sure in the end he picks the Veep, but the choices are generally made mostly for him by polls and stats. For example, do you think he could currently tap Edwards as Veep? Of course he could, but that would destroy all his chances of winning.
To be honest, I am not thrilled about Biden for his stance on some technology issues, but he is a good solid choice. Obama however is the person I am voting for, Biden at least doesn't hurt that opinion, unlike some other choices that may have. Hillary would not have hurt it either.
It doesn't really matter anyway, Diebold is going to elect McCain.
