iTunes 8 - Rumored to Bring Auto Playlists and HD
September 04, 2008 by: daveYeay auto playlists! This is the one thing that has been sorely missing from apple music products in general, and I have never understood why. Supposedly, iTunes 8 will now bring auto playlists, though it may just be a recommendation engine, named Genius, which will choose songs that are "similar". Kind of like Pandora I suppose? Hopefully it can do most played, least played, etc. In addition it will be adding HD video purchases it seems.
