Maybe the Media Should Not Cover McCain for a Day?
October 07, 2008 by: daveWith all the bitching and moaning about the "liberal media" being unfair to McCain and Palin, maybe they would be OK with the media gving them a break for a day or two? I mean, if the media is being made out to be the bad guy, regardless of what they do, why not then embrace it, and just ignore McCain all together. It's getting bad, to the point where news crews are being abused by crowds. Hell, the camera men, with their union backing, could start refusing to work McCain stories because of "safety concerns". It will never happen of course, but a boy can dream.

This “Liberal Media” thing has gotten so far out of hand it’s not even funny. It is breathtakingly out of balance with reality.
It would appear, that if you slam anything left of center then you’re OK. If you report, accurately, on anything that does not appeal to the hating right wing, then you are “Liberal Media” and patently unfair. The notion that FOR REALS balanced reporting is somehow Liberal and stupidly out of control.
And now, with the reports of Palin fans screaming and assaulting the media even as they try to cover her is astonishing. My god, what we’ve become.

It’s not only angering, but terrifying. Of course McCain and Palin don’t think that Obama is a terrorist. With both of their past and current affiliations, they are also not ones to talk…
But the problem is not them, it’s who they speak to. Frightened, desperate, small people who are upset because of the economy, unsettled by the prospect of a black president, and have possibly felt personal loss in some form via the war. Those people, just need a push to become irrational, and as such, make stupid decisions, the worst of which would be murder. So this brings me to a thought I had, as a result of this, which I am going to post.
