Obligatory First Post

So the basics of me, this site, and what I am thinking to do (at least at the moment). I'm a self employed Technology Architect. But really I'm a gadget geek, nerd, smart guy, smart ass, go to guy, problem solver, etc. When people ask my friends, family or clients about me, they tend to respond with some version of "He knows stuff." Whether I know alot about it or a bit, I seem to know at least something about it. Whatever it is. I'm no Cliff Claven, although initially people I first meet think I am. I am interested in EVERYTHING (well almost everything). So, that being said. I have noticed a bit of a gap in the blogspace. There are tons of blogs, some very well written, some very entertaining, some smart, and some educational. But the gap exists between them. Often the gadget sites are read by geeks and of course written by them. The educational blogs tend to be next-level boring and way to over-the-head of most people, even us smart folks. So my thought is a fun blog, with a smart-ass lilt, using bigger words, reviewing, rambling, learning and educating, is needed. Am I right? pffft, who knows. But I guess time will tell. I am going to give it the ol' college try (took me over 10 years to graduate mind you... red tape is fun). So let the games begin. And I am going to apologize ahead of time to the assorted blog sites I am about to start ripping story-leads off of. Maybe I'll blogroll you as a thanks for a while.
