Reorganized BrainDonkey. fun stuff…
June 26, 2008 by: daveI decided to start using BrainDonkey as a little more than just a blog domain. I am going to use it a bit as a portfolio as well. So I moved some stuff around, in particular, the blog. I moved the blog into a folder, where before it was on the root of the domain. All old links will find their way into the blog (in theory), so no real issue there. Hopefully i did everything right, and don't lose too much of my PR or links.
Part of the move was also to upgrade to the newest version of wordpress. A simple upgrade wasnt going to cut it, so a bit of manual process was involved, nothing too major, but a bit time consuming. For example, I am still re-tagging all my old posts...
Hopefully this will set my up for doing some of the other things I wanted to do with this domain, such as a store and forum. We will see I suppose, since this is a personal project, but with a slight business tilt to it, there is at least some incentive to do it.
