With all the bitching and moaning about the "liberal media" being unfair to McCain and Palin, maybe they would be OK with the media gving them a break for a day or two? I mean, if the media is being made out to be the bad guy, regardless of what they do, why not then embrace it, and just ignore McCain all together. It's getting bad, to the point where news crews are being abused by crowds. Hell, the camera men, with their union backing, could start refusing to work McCain stories because of "safety concerns". It will never happen of course, but a boy can dream.

I have added the Truth-O-Meter, by Politifact, to the side bar on BrainDonkey, because frankly I end up talking about almost every single thing on there. It's pretty good, and it shows the truth-level of statements and smears. Some are surprising, most are not, but it is great to have authentication that is backed up with actual complete evidence, instead of the convenient partials that the candidates use.

It would seem that the debate did not bode well for the McCain camp. Generally speaking, when someone goes on a severe and extreme offense, it means they are losing and know it, and are making a last stand. It is the case with virtually anything, poker, football, arguing with your wife, and politics. Almost 100% of McCains current ad budget is going toward 3 negative ads. Like most last ditch efforts, I hope this fails bad. This is an "all in" from the gambler McCain.

I don't think she did? Though I am trying to think back through the debate, I think she dodged or ignored more than half of them.
Who do you want as your VP? Biden doesn't even flinch with either question, and frankly hits on the crux of the reason Roe won in that decision, which is right to privacy. Palin, not so much. No of course, Biden himself tried to pushed for the constitutional ruling that he cited as one he disliked the outcome of, so I guess there's that argument (rollseyes). It also is rumored that there is 1 more segment with Palin... oh boy.

So the VP debate is tommorrow and is being lead by a Gwen Ifill of PBS. She is apparently coming out with a book in a while that is pro-Obama. So, place your bets. How many of the questions that Palin fails to answer will the McCain camp claim to be unfairly biased, and howmany of her successes will they neglect to claim bias?
