You know, sometimes I get comment spam. HAHAHAHAH duh. Who the hell doesn’t? Most are nuked by my spam services, but a few get through, either because they are new or don’t fit the fingerprint, etc. However, every once in a while, I get a spam comment that frankly is good enough to keep. Either because of the fact that its content is not all that spammy, but instead adding actual content, or because their link is actually not “threeway donkey-cat-dolphin porn”.

I recently posted about the OldSpice Devastating Explosions site and got a spam comment from trendsintwitter.com.

Fantastic put up, very informative. I’m wondering why the opposite experts of this sector don’t notice this. You must continue your writing. I am sure, you’ve a great readers’ base already!|What’s Going down i’m new to this, I stumbled upon this I have discovered It positively helpful and it has aided me out loads.
Come On! That’s freaking right on target! I am also wondering why the experts in this sector don’t notice me. And all though it’s retroactive, I am helping him out by mentioning him, on top of his spam entry.

Now I hope I rank on Google for ”threeway donkey-cat-dolphin porn”. I can TOTALLY make revenue off that sector!

Went on my second date with my daughter last night and it went well again. So as it stands now, I am batting 1000, but of course am expecting the horribly bad date at some point in the future. Hopefully not until she is 13 and I have become used to her hating me anyway.

It’s surprisingly simple to do and can be mind expanding for the kid without the pomp and circumstance of things like museums and shows and such. I think that there is so much pressure put on parents (at least smarter ones) to educate their kids every second, that most parents fail miserably at actually providing the most important aspect of education, experience. Just walking around and looking at stuff and talking about it, can be more educating than the best school day sometimes.

We went to a local shopping area and walked around looking in windows of most, and going into a handful. We looked at clothes in the windows. Walked past a Coach Leather store and Ashley proclaims, “when I’m a mommy, I want to buy purses there”.

Seriously, the expensive gene has got to be genetic. My wife always wants the most expensive thing, without knowing pricing. Put two of the exact same pillows in front of her, she will pick the one that has the higher price.

We looked at some jewelry, which she was interested in silver necklaces. We went into Z-Gallery and looked at the stuff. Mirrors were a good hit, until the beds… She had to lay on every single bed in the joint. And then started bopping to the music on one of them.

Chillin on a couch, telling a story about how the cars (disney cars) were playing with the dinosaurs until the dinosaurs stole all their oil.

Towards the end of walking around, we visited Teavana which I think you can gather sells tea and tea related paraphernalia. It’s like a freakin headshop for tea nerds, which I am an amateur one of. We tried some of the teas that they had brewed up, looked at the teaware, checked out the blooming teas they had on display, and then tasted the last tea. The last one was blueberry/strawberry, and as you can imagine the response was “I WANT THAT”. So I bought her some loose tea, and will help her make it at home for the next few days until she gets sick of it inevitably.

A little playing on some amphitheater-like steps watching the fountain.

Then we were off to have sushi. I wanted to expose her to it now. It’s about when I got exposed by my parents, so why not? We ate a RA in Scottsdale, and sat at the sushi bar. Mostly because I thought she would find it cool to watch them make the sushi. Wrong. She could have given 2 shits about it. But the chopsticks were a hit.

Deciding how to expose her to sushi was a multiday discussion in my own head. She only ever eats carbs normally, so my concern was that if I got nigeri she would just pull of the fish and eat the rice. A roll is kind of hard for a small mouth to eat. So, sashimi it is! (yellowtail, tuna, salmon)

Look at the pro! She is working those chopsticks like a Boss! A woman a few seats away couldn’t stop staring. I think she was a bit freaked out. Though might have been my awesome good looks were making her hot and bothered. Her favorite was salmon sashimi, though she ate two pieces of tuna and yellowtail as well as 4 of the salmon. The most I think I have ever seen her eat of something that didn’t have sugar in it.

Success! She is smiling. Go dad!

Somebody is sweepy. Yes there is a paci in her mouth and she’s 4. Unless you’re her doctor and we have lied to you about it, move on, nothing to see here.

Overall, some small tiffs, a little crankiness, a lot of giggling, singing and 1 armed swinging which cracked up the valet guy and freaked out the grandmas standing around. Definitely a win.

I hope to keep this up, every two weeks and post each time, good or bad. Maybe I will make it a few years, maybe until college. Probably not without gaps, but I figure if it is made a habit, both of us will miss it and feel weird without it. Kind of like a seatbelt or helmet if you have never been without those.

Dear God, NOT size L.

You know how many pencils and quarters would end up in that crack if that dress was worn out? This has got to be a traffic generator joke. Although she did sell it.

I wouldn’t mind seeing this become a trend mind you. Well maybe I would. I guess it would force you to bend at the knees to pick something up, or maybe not, depending on your mood.

I figured I would post about my wife’s experience on her date night with ashley a few days ago. Short version is that it went well. However, there always seems to be a requirement for drama when the two of them get together.

They went shopping to try to get Ashley to be interested in things other than cars and trains. They found a new bedspread (smells like poison) which is actually girly. Crazy, I know. She was having fun, looking at clothes, looking at housewares, and jewelry.

But then of course the drama queen got a teeny cut on her hand and had a meltdown.

Dinner went well. Or at least they were fine together. Dinner on the other hand sounded like a cluster. 30 minute wait, with open tables, pizza took forever to get and was wrong when it came. They never got a bill or to go box, and Ashley had to go potty. So after putting it off as long as possible, finally went to the bathroom. When they got back to the table, it was cleared, almost a whole pizza gone.

Needless to say, after a conversation with the manager, everything was free. Through all of it though, the take away is that Ashley was a trooper. Mom was the one having a meltdown.

I’ve done them all. The most success I had was with HCG, but frankly, I think the HCG part of it is pointless, but the diet itself is sound. So I am changing habits for the last time. This recent failure was due to bad timing, illness, and a whole host of other things I could blame my lack of willpower on, but the fact is, I didnt want it yet.

I do now.

So, now I start again with a modified version of the HCG diet, minus the HCG. I am going to do 300-400 grams of protein a day, 4-5 cups of the “approved” vegetables, and two apples. My biggest issue is not actually hunger or anything, it’s just a complete lack of willpower. My wife falls off the wagon, and I jump right off, and embrace failure with both arms wide open.

What’s really odd is that I do not have any addiction genes it seems, or at the very least it takes me a REALLY long time to get addicted to things. I tried really really hard in college. However, the one thing I seem to be addicted to is sugar. I cannot seem to kick that habit. The argument would be to do atkins or other low carb, which the reality is I am by doing super low cal.

So, here I go again. Wish me luck.

For some reason this has been stuck in my head for weeks. Ashley started this about 3 months ago because she heard it 1 time. What cracks me (and my wife) up is the Bondor! she piles onto the end. Or in some cases Gato! No idea where she got this from, but I am thinking Bondor should be a code word in our house now.

Me to wife: “Hey how about some Bondor after Ashley is asleep?” Wink Wink.

Of course this has now spawned some silliness around this joint. Either of us arbitrarily yelling BONDOR!!! And now it has evolved into everything. Ashley watched a lot of Thomas and Friends, which takes place on the Island of Sodor, so now of course, in my best George Carlin voice I declare randomly “Welcome to the Island of Bondor”.

Kids melt your brain. I think about 40% of my thoughts are now consumed with stupid ear worms she has shoved into my head. The new one now is from the Lion King, which we are being subjected to every moment she can. Hakuna Matata. But of course it is now Hakuna MaBondor.

If you see me in public and I’m drooling all over myself, it’s my kid’s fault.

We don’t watch football, or sports for that matter, but she asked to watch it because everyone at school was talking about it. She wanted to know what it was all about. We turned it on, sat down to watch, 2 plays later, “This is boring, will you play with my cars with me?”

She is my kid all right.

This morning, I woke up and walked passed Ashley’s room to the sound of her “reading” a story to her baby to put it to sleep. This is quite cute, but this has also been creeping me out a bit.

Every day, when she gets up, she now has a routine of putting her doll to bed. It’s the only doll she plays with, and also the only time she plays with it. There is no other interaction with it, EVER. “ok baby, time for bed” followed by some random babbling, and then tucking the doll in, even giving it a kiss on the forehead goodnight.

I don’t know why it’s creeping me out a bit, maybe a latent issue with dolls? I’ve been yelled at for making too much noise that might wake the baby. I’ve been scolded for not being nice to baby (i just take it out of bed and chuck it in the corner…) It’s healthy, it’s cute, it’s creative play, it also shows our nightly routine is probably good since she imitates it precisely. Still creepy a bit. Those eyes…
